Emotional & Mental Health
Emotional, mental, and physical health are intertwined in East Asian Medicine (EAM). Each organ system is connected to an emotion. These close relationships can be observed when an increased or prolonged emotional state taxes the health of the related organ system or when the imbalance in an organ system results in an increased expression and experience of the related emotion. For example, the liver is responsible for detoxifying the blood, managing stress, emotions, and the even flow of energy (or qi) throughout the body. When the liver gets overloaded and backed up, frustration may arise. If the liver system is stressed for a long period of time, this can give rise to anger, the associated emotion of the liver.

Acupuncture, herbs, and Craniosacral therapy can regulate the nervous system and balance hormones, decreasing stress, anxiety, and depression and increasing a sense of centered well-being and joyful living.
EAM addresses the individual's unique picture of health to determine the root cause of emotional and mental health concerns. It treats both the the underlying factors as well as the manifesting disorders.
Fertility & Reproductive Care
Studies show that Chinese herbalism and acupuncture can increase ovulation rate, pregnancy rate, and increase one's quality of life. Chinese herbal formulas and acupuncture are a safe and effective way to increase fertility by improving blood and tissue states, balancing hormones, and relaxing the nervous system, which encourages homeostasis and an optimum health state for conceiving. Beyond pregnancy, East Asian medicine excels as an effective treatment for irregular menstruation, hormone balancing, and disorders like amenorrhea, PCOS, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids.
Orthopedic, Sports Medicine & Pain Management
Acupuncture and supportive therapies can help decrease pain and inflammation, increase ROM, improve joint health, and support muscle growth and tissue healing. By improving the body's energy for healing and blood production and by removing blockages, EAM can help to increase the healing rate and restore the body to an ideal level of health and mobility. One can reliably treat injuries (both acute and chronic), nourish the body's vital substances, and increase physiological functioning for greater vitality and decreased pain.
