Acupuncture Initial Treatment

Service Description

The session begins with an in depth review of all health systems as well as the patient's healthcare goals. The state of the body, mind, emotional being, and spirit are all important in Chinese medicine. A treatment plan is formed based upon the signs, symptoms and greater picture of health. This initial inquiry takes 20-30 minutes and is followed by an acupuncture treatment. In addition to acupuncture, the treatment may include cupping, moxabustion, tui na and shiatsu massage, electrical stimulation, and energetic work. If desired, a custom or patented herbal formula may be prescribed as well.
